Sky Slab by takitus Sky Slab by takitus
As much as it rained while I was in Germany, it was good enough to stop sometimes so I could take some nice photos... especially with all the storm clouds! I only wish they would let me photograph the inside of this building as well...
It almost looks like it fell through that hole in the clouds

Dropping down from the heavens like a Sky Slab looms this alien construct of bizarre construction. Possibly steel and glass? Certainly not of this earth. It definitely stretches miles above us,…wait what’s that? It’s a photo by Philip Prescot of a normal every day skyscraper? Nah, gotta be alien for sure. ( Featured by lolly )

That's a well deserved DD! I absolutely love the sharpness of your picture and its surreal feel. Awesome art.

One of the most beautiful building photos on DA. You captured what young/ beginner photographers like me dream of. The clarity of the lines. The dynamic colours. Sky and building almost blending but not.

Seriously, I could go on forever. Sky Slab is certainly my architecture with sky and clouds inspiration. I can only hope with a tone of effort I can take pictures like this one day.

There are many sites in Germany (living and being born there, i know from firsthand experience) It not only looks like a chunk of the sky has idly strayed away from the rest but it looks as if it could be part of the Ocean when the waves are a bit rough, great pic!
