Mall in tokyo
-------------------

another shot from the same place =P

last of the escalator shots for a while
===========

unfortunately had to mirror this shot because the camera i took with me to japan had a defective mirror and all the symmetrical shots i took while i was there were off center. =(

What beautifully welcoming colours from something so sterile. Who really sees an escalator as inviting? This shot make it look the escalator look that way. I love it. To be honest, I never would've noticed that you mirrored the image. I just thought the architecture was that symmetrical. :+fav:

I like how the escalator's perspective leads you up and back and the underlights lead you out the the upper corners... a struggle between the 2 that creates a great balance. Do you shoot these images as raws?

Yay! More escalator shots. As long as they stay as interesting and beautiful as the two thus far, I'll keep stopping by. Do you have access to these escalators after hours or do you just have to wait till no one is on them? :moo:

I'm asking myself if your shot are not symmetrical 'cause of your killing hiccups... :p
Tripod or not, I guess yes but I'm just scared by imagine you'll say no...
always clean, which post process do you use ?

no tripod, my shots were messed up with this camera because the mirror was not at the correct angle.
as far as post processing, i just white balance in photoshop with some levels and borders. simple stuff really.
